Ground Breaking Ceremony On April 10th, 2008, Bluegrass had the much anticipated ground breaking ceremony. Governor Beshear, Judge Executive, Kenny French, and Formula One legend and track designer, Derek Daly were among the guests of honor. The BMW Store supplied X3 SAVs for property tours, and Red Bull was kind enough to kick in some energy that appeared to be unneeded as over 250 people attended the historic ceremony. We were honored to have Governor Steve Beshear, County Judge/Executive Kenny French, and Formula One legend and track designer, Derek Daly as the guests of honor at our ground breaking ceremony. In addition, Representative Royce Adams honored Bluegrass Motorsports Club with a Citation from the House of Representatives. To see photos from the ceremony, click here.
Engineering is Moving Ahead in Top Gear at Bluegrass The track has now been staked by Derek Daly and the engineers. We are currently conducting property tours where the 3.38 mile road course is being constructed. New Director of Operations
Andy Vertrees has been recruited by Bluegrass Motorsports Club as Director of Operations.  He will oversee the bidding phase, construction process, and ensure a smooth transition to operations while helping recruit members of a hand-picked team that will assist in operating the facility on a day-to-day basis. Unanimous approval for zoning
Bluegrass Motorsports Club and Road Course was unanimously approved for zoning by the Gallatin County Zoning Board and Fiscal Court.
